i tried the great-grandchild photo shoot again yesterday afternoon, when everyone seemed to be in better spirits...pace was trying really hard to be a good boy and follow my directions, and max was getting ready to go down for a nap, so he didn't like all the directions all the time...
this one isn't too bad:
pace--put your arm around max:
ok, good, now smile!
pace--try again--lean in to max and give him a hug and smile:
max started making his 'i'm-getting-tired-and-want-my-blanket' gibberish noises. pace thought it was pretty amusing:
ok, pace--last one!--put your arm around max and smile big!
