first snow of the year!

it was pretty deep...and cold!  david and pace played in the snow for just a little bit before pace was done.  whenever pace sees piles of snow that haven't melted yet, he says, "snow, cold, oh-oh-oh" (the oh part is him pretending to shiver).

happy halloween!

daddy had to work late, so we just went over to the mall to do some trick-or-treating with him!  apparently everyone else had the same idea--there was a huge costume parade flow of kids!  pace loved seeing all the kids dressed up, and max was happy to munch on his little lion costume.  before going to the mall, we ran to the grocery store to find a candy bucket for pace.  all they had left were cloth monkey buckets--a monkey dressed as a vampire, a frankenstein monkey, or a witch monkey. pace chose the witch monkey with the purple hat.  he was very excited to see daddy at work--david took a few minutes to walk with us to a couple of stores.  that was about it for pace's interest in trick-or-treating; he was way more interested in going to see the "waterfall" in the mall.  so we went and sat by the water for a while and then had a chick-fila dinner in the food court.  the only treat pace was interested at the end of the evening?  a blue lollipop!
