David once said it was "Like Magic!" He'd leave for work and come back and voilá, clothes were washed and put away, bathroom sparkly, dishes done, floors vacuumed, swept and mopped...

Although I do see this as being great material in some future job interview:
Interviewer: What was your last position?
Me: Magic.
Interviewer: I see. And what did that entail?
Me: A magician never reveals her secrets.
To be fair, David was home sick a couple weeks ago, and he did comment, "I really have appreciated being home, seeing how hard you work with the boys and with our home. I really, really appreciate you; thank you."
If only I got paid overtime.
