The day after Pace's birthday, a Saturday, we didn't really have anything on our calendar...and when we saw the kitties at the best friends pet shelter for $5, all our humming and hawing and pros vs. cons list went out the window, and we went and got some kitties to join our family. At first we brought home the grey one and a beautiful white, black, and orange calico kitty. And then the calico kitty disappeared for the first 24 hours and when we found her she ran away for the second 24 hours. We decided we were as bad a fit for her as she was for us, so the boys and I drove back to SLC on Monday after school and exchanged kitties for the grey kitty's old casemate. We really lucked out! They are both playful, cuddly, cuddle with the boys at night, purr, and we love them! The grey one we named Keo and the chocolate one we named Rocket. The boys are in heaven!
