A week before Pace's birthday he was eating breakfast and started crying, and said, "Mommy, I think I have an adult tooth!" Sure enough, his first baby tooth was loose!
The day after his birthday, Pace said at breakfast, "Mommy, you can pull my tooth out after school." I forgot about it, but Pace came home, ate lunch, then said, "Ok, Mommy, you can pull out my tooth now!" We grabbed some tissues and pop! He was so excited for the Tooth Fairy to visit!
And, as it turns out, we have a very generous Tooth Fairy in these here parts.
I have to say, every time I see Pace now with that little hole in between his teeth my heart breaks a little. It's a reminder he's growing up--so fast.
