where did paceboy come from?

david told me today that pace asked him, "daddy, where did paceboy come from?"  david said, "i don't understand your question, pace, what do you mean?"

flashback:

a week or so ago i was ordering a bunch of my favorite prints of the boys from baby to the present.  the photo below was one i ordered.  pace saw it and asked what it was.  i told him it was a picture from when i was pregnant with max.  i told him max was growing in my tummy.  pace said, "but mom, didn't the stomach assick hurt max in your tummy?"  i quickly corrected myself for our budding doctor--"you're right, pace, max wasn't in my tummy.  he was growing in another organ called the uterus.  it's an organ only girls have, and babies grow in the uterus.  it's located below the stomach in the abdominal cavity."  and that was it.  end of the conversation.  pace moved on and kept playing with his trucks, and i didn't think anything of it.

flashforward:

"daddy, where did paceboy come from?"  

"i don't understand your question, pace, what do you mean?" 

"daddy, paceboy grew in a utuerus."
