max likes to hide, too
one day during nap time, i heard some stamping/banging upstairs and went up to check it out. good thing the camera was nearby--these cute boys were reading together! i don't remember if a nap ended up happening for real that day....
marble madness! papa and ninnie sent max an amazon gift card for his b-day, and we ordered the marble maze. it's been a hit! it's been great to make the maze, figure it out and fix it if the marble doesn't work like we thought it would, and, of course, do demolition at the end...
we fixed up the garden one day--friends of ours have nylon netting for their vine squashes/watermelons to grow up. we decided to try it out in our space! we're pretty happy with how our chicken wire and stakes turned out. let the squashes begin--i hope it works! i also thought planting flowers near our plants might help out with attracting bees and fertilization this year, but it turns out i just need to leave the hose out--the water gets these thirsty bees right over to our plants.
who says these plants are creepy? um...pretty beautiful in my book!
