this week max has added onto his mono-syllabic words. he has decided to include a "y" with all his words. not on the end, the beginning! he still says just the end syllable of the word, but now it all begins with a "y":
yup, yown, yuck, yock, yat, yelp, yeat, yake, yeep, yate, yeyyow, yeen...
if you guessed
up, down, truck, sock, hat, help, treat, cake (as in pancake), jeep, gate, yellow, green
respectively, then you speak maxwell-ese fluently, and you are welcome to come over and play!
it's interesting because he'll say all his letters perfectly when we run through the alphabet, and he chooses to still say a handful of words correctly--bubble, mama, daddy, "et" is still blanket, and "ginkie" is still binkie...
in other, non-verbal cuteness, max has taken to running after pace, trying to keep up with him. what's really cute about his run is he keeps his left arm tucked up along his chest while his right arm is swinging back and forth at his side.

Well,I have to admit, I am not yet fluent!
But I could get there. You have to see the words used in context!
