one morning last week a little snow storm blew in and blew out within an hour or so. we were sure to bundle up and get out there and play while the playing was good! little worker bee pace said he had some shoveling to do, so he took off to the back garden area. max sort of wandered around until he found the puddles, and then he some fun, too.
after shoveling, pace grabbed the rake. he said this one was "the letter u", and the next picture is of "the number 1". and then he went to town and turned our front lawn into an alien crop circle message. either that, or he was inspired by the sand art guy.

and the very next day--sunny, beautiful, and warm enough to do yard work without coats on! good thing, because pace grabbed the rake again and said he had to get plowing. he went into the back garden area again and raked (plowed) all the dirt.

In a puddle like that I would probably not have cried. I would have made my mother cry by rolling around and splashing!
