we loaded the boys up for the longest drive of their lives and headed to yellowstone with papa and ninny! i think this is 5-6 hours into the drive...
finally driving through yellowstone to get to the cabin we rented--bison cross the road right and left!
pace was very excited to get a map and see where we were headed. i think this new love of maps stems from his love of mazes!
we arrived to a cold, rainy night way up in the mountains in cooke city (northeast side of yellowstone park). the boys were very excited to see papa and ninny and find their beds in the loft. the next day, still rainy, we decided to drive the lulu pass loop around cooke city. believe it or not, it went even higher up into the mountains...and we got snow along the drive! the boys loved sitting on papa's lap and reaching their hands out of the windows to catch snowflakes in their hands.

pace can't! go away, snow!
we found wild raspberries on the way back down the mountain!
