We went to bed Christmas Eve to a balmy 40 degrees, some rain, and woke up the next morning to a winter wonderland Christmas storm! I stuck the ruler in the snow as far as I could reach off the porch, and it measured 8 inches around 730 or so, and when the storm was done we had probably over a foot of snow!
This was the Lego Christmas, if there ever was one! Max made this excited face and said, "That's just what I always wanted!" after each present. Pace just kept looking for more legos...One of David's drop-offs at work buys a ton of Star Wars stuff and resells it. He had a ton of merchandise he said wasn't sellable, and he gave it all to David. So Max got a lot of Star Wars figurines, spacecraft, etc.
Pace had all his Atlantis lego sets built within a few hours, and then moved on to Max's, and then David's. This kid couldn't get enough! The deal was he had to help teach Max and help Max put his stuff together, not just do it himself. The boys worked together happily for the time it took to build the boat, and then they played cops and robbers for a good hour.
Uncle Jon Erik sent awesome presents, as usual. The boys love the Fort Magic best--it's a bunch of pvc-type plastic pipes and connectors, and a booklet full of building ideas. So far, they have slept in a pirate ship, tents, and tonight they'll sleep in a weather satellite station with tunnels. Happy 2016!
