We made our own snow globes, tried to make a snowman wreath (the boys weren't interested in that project), and then they thought of a few on their own! Pace wanted to paint a picture to leave for Santa, and Max wanted to make a "super awesome" tic-tac-toe board.
And then Max saw the projector in the art room and wanted to tell stories with it. Pace got the great idea to turn the family room into a movie theater. He built a wall, set up the projector behind the wall, and asked me to make popcorn. The boys set up their movies by placing reusable stickers on the screen, and telling stories. It kept them entertained for a solid evening, and Daddy even got home early enough to join in with Shadow Dog!
