after being on the waiting list for.ever., we finally made it back to the byu art museum van gogh to play dough art lesson. this theme day was all about the ocean. here are the boys being ocean waves. pace is ironically much more willing to participate in classes and activities if he sees max doing it, too.
and then a lift truck came down the hallway. you can tell which boys are into trucks.
back in the craft room, we made jellyfish, sand art fish, and played with the coolest texture box ever--instead of the marbles that go in flower vases, they found little gel beads that soak in water and get larger, like those sponge bath animals. throw some water, gel beads, plastic fish and sharks in a box, and you're set! the boys have been begging to get some of our own gel beads--i think i'll start scouting out the floral sections of craft stores...
