my grandma is putting together a photo collage of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and has requested we all send her photos of our families. a few days ago i tried to get a happy photo of just the boys. pace was pretty moody the entire time; in his defense, though, he had just woken up from his afternoon nap and that is a pretty sensitive time for pace. we never know what we're going to get--a happy boy (probably about 2-5% of the time), or a moody boy who cries at everything that looks his way (95-98% of the time). for some reason i keep thinking we're going to see a lot more of the 2% pace, but odds aren't in my favor...
classic pace bed-head. max thought it was pretty ticklish and funny...
here's the only half-way decent one:
and then i think max looked backward and up at pace, and that set him off...
ok...all done with the basket and the brother. i had to let pace calm down and collect himself for a bit with his favorite blanket and binkies.
and then he seemed sort of happy laying there on the ground, so i thought i'd just sit max next to pace and try some more shots. unfortunately, a binkie war ensued...
and then max fell over (that's max's leg in the bottom left corner of the photo). and that's the only time pace smiled.
this might take a while...but we'll get there, mom mom! keep checking in and let me know if you see a good one, and i'll send it your way. we'll try and get a family shot, too...
